Predictive Analytics Script

The first rule of Predictive Analytics is: you do not talk about Predictive Analytics. So, what’s the best way to approach a contact when you see them pop up on the hot list? A phone call is likely the best way to start the conversation since you’ll be able to have a more organic discussion about the contact’s questions and needs. We’ve outlined some easy strategies you can use as a starting point to reach out to customers without letting them know our software predicted their next move.

The Contact Info Check-In

Client databases are critical to every business, so contacts won’t be surprised if you check in to make sure you have their up-to-date information. A simple touchpoint to verify their address, email, and phone could provide a great opportunity for you to ask about what’s going on in their life and see if they might be looking for home financing expertise.

Sample script for email or phone call:

  • I’m updating my client contact database and I wanted to check in and make sure I have your most up-to-date information.

  • Is this information correct (*include email, address, phone info*)?

  • If you ever have any home financing needs, please don’t hesitate to reach out – I’m happy to discuss any questions you might have.

  • Thank you for your time – I look forward to connecting.

The “Let’s get a coffee!” Approach

How long has it been since you saw this contact in person? Reach out and suggest a coffee to catch up and hear more about what’s going on in their life. Don’t start with the mortgage sell – just simply say you want to touch base.

Sample script for email or phone call:

  • I hope you are doing well!

  • It’s been a while since we connected, and I’d love to touch base with you.

  • Are you free for coffee in the next few weeks? Let me know what your schedule looks like.

  • Thank you for your time – I look forward to connecting.

The Mortgage Check-Up

If the client you want to reach out to already has a mortgage, you could offer a no-obligation mortgage check-up to ensure their mortgage strategy is still in line with their goals. This is an easy way to start a conversation and see if this contact is thinking about moving or refinancing.

  • As a home owner, it’s important to do a mortgage check-up from time-to-time to make sure your mortgage still supports your long-term financial strategy.

  • If you’d like to have a quick conversation about your loan, I’d love to meet up or schedule a time to talk through your current needs, today’s mortgage rates, and any other questions you might have.

  • Thanks for your time!

The Home Expert Angle

It’s important for your contacts to feel like they have a trusted mortgage advisor, so a simple check-in with an offer to discuss the real estate market, mortgage rates, and more could be helpful. It’s also a fast way to gauge their interest in securing a new loan

  • I’ve had several people reach out with questions about the real estate market and today’s rates, so I’m touching base with my contacts to see if you have any home financing questions or needs.

  • Let me know if you’d like to schedule a no-obligation time to meet or talk about any mortgage items you’d like to discuss.

The Homebot Offer

If you know the contact already owns their home, you could offer Homebot. Mention that you have a free, customized home value monitoring tool that you’d love to get them set up with. This is a great way to start talking about their home’s value, today’s mortgage rates, and identify if they are interested in moving or selling.

  • This free service gives you a comprehensive look at your home’s value, potential equity, and so much more.
